~ A few friendly tips to help you prepare for traveling ~

GENERAL TRAVEL RESOURCES

  1. Passport :: triple check that your passport expiration date is more than SIX months AFTER the LAST date of your trip. Otherwise, there is a good chance you will encounter issues with customs, or be denied boarding your flight. It is also important that you have enough full, blank pages for your upcoming international travels.
  2. GOES { Global Entry } for United States citizens :: the best $ ever spent, to bypass long customs lines when returning from abroad; Global Entry also includes TSA pre-check so your domestic check-in process should be more efficient as well. Some credit card companies even reimburse the fee.
  3. Visas and other travel documents :: Visa HQ is a great resource for confirming which documents you need based on your nationality and where you intend to visit. We recommend securing visas in advance, { even in destinations where you can purchase visas on arrival } so that you avoid long lines or unexpected difficulties.
  4. IN A RUSH :: try Travel Visa Pro for expediting Visas and Passports.
  5. Vaccinations :: start with the CDC for the most current requirements and recommendations by country. And of course, always seek advice from your physician.

BEFORE YOU GO

  1. Check the Travel Resources links above to ensure you have the paperwork and vaccinations necessary for your destination{ s }.

  2. Packing :: passport, CTCo. itinerary and relevant travel documents + weather-appropriate clothing attire.

  3. Jewelry :: carry at your own risk, I like to recommend simple, elegant and fun baubles to my clients for their travels.

  4. Flights :: double check your flight departure status on the airline website, as well as Flight Aware. We recommend most clients check-in online for their flight 24 hours prior to departure { unless advised otherwise by your travel agent }.

  5. Transfers, airport greeters, spa appointments, restaurant reservations, touring & experiences :: has everything been organized that you need or want to accomplish on this trip?

  6. STRONG ADVISEMENT :: DO NOT BRING YOUR VAPING PEN, OR ANY MARIJUANA OR OTHER DRUG PARAPHERNALIA ON YOUR TRIP. If you absolutely must bring prescription medication, be sure to carry a doctor's note with you for each prescription. Laws and regulations differ significantly by country, best to err on the safe side!
